G.W. Jacobs was born Alonzo Stovall in Chicago, IL. After attending public schools in Chicago, he attended Bishop College in Dallas, TX where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology degree and attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL where he earned a Masters in Policy Analysis and Urban Affairs.

 

Alonzo Stovall received an award in Edwardsville, IL while being the Keynote Speaker for a Black History event for college students in 1999; received an award in Dallas, TX in 2002 involving music and children; and another award in 2007 for his role in aspiring young minds to further their educational pursuits in Memphis, TN.

 

G.W. began another phase of caring for people. Instead of solely seeing about their physical and emotional needs, he now began overseeing their spiritual needs. He was called to pastor a small church in Collinsville, IL. Through his faith in God and belief in the mission he was undertaking, he was able to feed his spiritual flock, nurture and raise a family and continue seeing after the physical and emotional needs of youth. In addition, to his love for children’s safety, G.W. has included his passion for music for over ten years as being a choir director, musician and teacher spanning regions from Chicago, Texas, and Tennessee.

 

G.W. has captivated audiences from 10 to 300 with his oratorical abilities while engaging readers to inquire about his upcoming projects whether the interest be mystery, religion, relationships or self-examination G.W. covers it all.

 

Legal Hitters, is an action packed novel about an intricate police drama about the diabolical actions of a brilliant group of lawyers who manage to get away with murder and mayhem while successfully practicing law. His work was recently afforded the opportunity to be featured at the University of Memphis May 2008 for being such an outstanding masterpiece. His work has received some amazing interest from publishers all across the world. He currently resides with his wife and daughter in Memphis, TN where they attend a local church.
